Ascent Guides' Whitewater Packrafting is all about building the skills for running Class III and harder rivers with confidence and style. Over two days and using some of the best rivers in Southwest BC, we'll cover things like scouting and running long and complex rapids, managing holes, surfing, boofing and a whole lot more. If you're looking to step up your packrafting, this is the course for you.
All day will be spent outside learning skills, techniques and paddling.
*It is the clients responsibility to secure equipment prior to the course or trip. If renting through Mt. Waddington Outdoors, you will receive a 10% discount code for online rentals. Please allow adequate time to acquire your rental gear, specifically if shipment is required.
**Packraft availability varies from Mt. Waddington Outdoors. Please secure a packraft well before the course date.
This course is not for beginner packrafters. Students in this course will have to have previously taken an Ascent Packrafting course or will need to have previous river packrafting experience on water Class II+ or above. Students are expected to be proficient in basic paddle techniques and self rescue.
