Climbing a rock formation, whether it be at your local crag or a 1500m rock face, can be one of the richest and most rewarding experiences to be had. It can also be one of the most dangerous. Learning to climb safely and efficiently allows you to express a new form of creativity in the mountains. Our guides and instructors have decades worth of combined experience. Using a wide scope of knowledge and experiences, they will help you learn how to mitigate dangers and explore more freely, here in the Fraser Valley and beyond!

Intro to Outdoor Climbing

The first step to climbing outdoors can seem daunting, however this course is designed to give you the skills you need to move from the gym to outdoor rock. You will explore some of the Fraser Valley's best outdoor climbing areas, the granite walls and cracks at Harrison bluffs and the textured limestone and face climbing at Slesse crag. By the end of the course you understand the nuts and bolts of climbing outside.

Trad & Multi-Pitch : Rock Climbing Progression

Climbing is an exercise in freedom, and no form of climbing is more free than placing your own protection as you go, and climbing the traditional (trad) way. This course will teach you the fundamentals of trad climbing; What each piece of gear does, how to use it effectively and safely, and how to take a guidebook description, and turn it into an incredible experience. You will build upon the climbing skills you already have, and by the end of the course you will feel confident to rack up, and climb unbolted routes.

Rock Rescue

Know what to do when something goes wrong. This course is designed to give you and your climbing partners the skills required to get yourself out of a problematic situation when something goes wrong while climbing.
